Lamar County came into Thursday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Gordo Green Wave by a score of 12-9 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-6 on March 3rd.

Lamar County's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Gordo, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
