Softball Recap: Harrisburg's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Harrisburg was the 13-7 winner over Brookings-Harbor when they last played one another back in March of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Harrisburg's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Brookings-Harbor, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Coincidentally, Harrisburg and Brookings-Harbor will both be playing North Douglas the next time they take the field. The Bruins will host North Douglas at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
