Soccer Recap: Springport Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Springport was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They came up short against the Quincy Orioles, falling 9-1. The loss continues a trend for Springport in their meetings with Quincy: they've now lost four in a row.

Springport now has a losing record of 6-7-2. As for Quincy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Springport wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Potterville on the 10th. As for Quincy, they will face off against Three Rivers at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th.
