Ross' tournament run continued when they took on Start on Wednesday. The Little Giants put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Little Giants in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ross was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-1, 25-4.

Ross' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryla Smith, who had five aces and three digs. Smith is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season. Hayden Dircksen was another key player, getting eight digs and seven aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Ross was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 26 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.
Meanwhile, Clay got the win against Findlay on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.
Clay not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Findlay between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-17.
Ross better keep an eye on Jadyn Kennedy. She was instrumental in Clay's win, getting 15 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Kennedy has posted over her last six matchups.
Ross' record is now 18-5. As for Clay, their record now sits at 16-6.
Ross came up short against Clay when the teams last played last Tuesday, falling 3-1. Can the Little Giants avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
