Basketball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost against Page back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Franklin Admirals lost 74-50 to the Page Patriots. The Admirals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mazie Bushman was a one-woman wrecking crew for Page as she went 9 of 11 on her way to 18 points and six rebounds. That's the most boards Bushman has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Lee, who went 7 of 13 on her way to 15 points.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Page, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will face off against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Page, they will venture away from home to take on Nolensville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Nolensville will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Page surely won't give up without a fight.
