Volleyball Recap: Allatoona Takes a Loss

Allatoona was the 2-1 winner over Harrison when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Buccaneers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hoyas on Tuesday. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Allatoona was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23.

Madi Heard paced Allatoona's offense, picking up ten kills. Heard got some help from Lk Lamonica and her 19 assists.

Allatoona now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Harrison, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Allatoona and Harrison will both be playing McIntosh the next time they take the court. The Buccaneers will head out to face the Chiefs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hoyas will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
