Recap: Burroughs Bears vs. Agoura Chargers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Burroughs Bears, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 42-18 walloping at the hands of Agoura on Friday. Burroughs' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
When it comes to explaining why Burroughs lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ethan Hubbell. Despite the final result, he picked up 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Hubbell's longest reception was for an incredible 93 yards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Agoura to victory, but perhaps none more so than Harrison Novak, who threw for 271 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Hull, who picked up 176 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Burroughs' loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Agoura, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
Burroughs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Agoura also has no future games currently scheduled.
