Basketball Recap: Enderlin Comes Up Short

Enderlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 57-49 to the Richland Colts. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colts apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Enderlin still got an impressive performance from Jake Cimbura, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 16 points and five assists. Cimbura has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Orien Adargo, who posted six points and 13 boards.

Cimbura wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Enderlin was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Enderlin's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Richland, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-13.

Enderlin will look to defend their home court on Monday against Wyndmere at 7:00 p.m. As for Richland, they will head out on the road to square off against Sargent County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
