Volleyball Game Preview: Midland Legacy Rebels vs. Midland Bulldogs

The Midland Legacy Rebels will take on the Midland Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Midland Legacy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.

On Tuesday, Midland Legacy got the win against Frenship by a conclusive 3-0.

The win didn't come easy: Frenship scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Midland made easy work of Odessa on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Bronchos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Midland never let Odessa on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-22.

Midland Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 26-11. As for Midland, their win bumped their record up to 27-8.

Midland Legacy couldn't quite get it done against Midland in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Rebels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
