Basketball Recap: Justyce Walters' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tulsa CHEF over HEA Firebirds Homeschool

After soaring to 62 points the game before, Tulsa CHEF was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. The match between Tulsa CHEF and HEA Firebirds HomeSchool didn't end well, with Tulsa CHEF falling 38-24.

Several Tulsa CHEF players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Justyce Walters, who posted two points in addition to eight assists and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Walters a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Maegan Kennedy, who earned four points.

Tulsa CHEF has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-14 record this season. The win was the third in a row for HEA Firebirds HomeSchool, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Tulsa CHEF wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-47 defeat against Dallas Thunder on the 10th. HEA Firebirds HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
