Soccer Recap: Central Kitsap's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

After flying high against Mount Tahoma on Tuesday, Central Kitsap came back down to earth. The Cougars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bellarmine Prep Lions on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Central Kitsap came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 12th, while Bellarmine Prep are ranked 105th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Central Kitsap fell to 7-1. As for Bellarmine Prep, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Kitsap will host Silas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bellarmine Prep, they will be playing at home against Peninsula at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
