Volleyball Game Preview: Wawasee Warriors vs. Mishawaka Cavemen

The Wawasee Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Mishawaka Cavemen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Wawasee came up short against Northridge on Monday, falling 3-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-12, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Mishawaka came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Eagles 3-0.

Mishawaka was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-14, 25-19.

Mishawaka's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Wawasee, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-21.

Wawasee might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Mishawaka in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
