Basketball Recap: Four Rivers Comes Up Short

Four Rivers suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2024 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 49-20 loss at the hands of the Elgin Huskies. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Four Rivers' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Elgin, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Four Rivers will challenge Grant Union at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elgin, they will be playing at home against Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Elgin surely won't give up without a fight.
