Volleyball Recap: Point Loma Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Point Loma barely beat Lincoln the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pointers blew past the Hornets 3-0 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Pointers, who have now won four matches in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-12, 25-19.

Point Loma was led to victory by Olivia Karvelis and Reece Thomas. Karvelis had 11 digs and five assists, while Thomas had three digs and two aces. Karvelis has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 13 times she's played.

Point Loma's record is now 17-11. As for Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 14-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Point Loma nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
