Volleyball Recap: PikeView Panthers vs. Poca The Dots
PikeView was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Poca The Dots.
While PikeView had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20.
Poca can attribute much of their success to Maylee Richards, who had 11 digs.
PikeView's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18-1. As for Poca, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-6-2.
PikeView wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against River View on the 12th. Poca has also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Sherman on the 12th.
