Basketball Recap: Daelan Dickerson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Medford Tech

While Westampton Tech didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They skirted past the Medford Tech Jaguars 53-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since December 21, 2023.

Westampton Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daelan Dickerson led the charge by going 6 for 7 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds. Dickerson's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shakur Anderson, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Westampton Tech's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Medford Tech, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westampton Tech will take on KIPP Cooper Norcross at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Medford Tech, they will face off against Notre Dame at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
