Soccer Recap: Harlan Takes a Loss

Harlan lost against Warren back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Harlan Hawks lost 4-0 to the Warren Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Warriors are ranked 53rd).

This is the second loss in a row for Harlan and nudges their season record down to 9-9-3. As for Warren, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 15-2-2 record this season.

Harlan has already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Sotomayor on the 11th. As for Warren, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Brennan on the 11th.
