Milano has gone 8-2 against Bartlett recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Milano is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They beat Evadale by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-1.

Kellson Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Milano saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andres Ruelas, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Bartlett made easy work of Goldthwaite on Saturday and carried off a 12-1 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Bartlett pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Milano, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8-1.

Milano might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Bartlett when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
