Baseball Game Preview: Barnesville Shamrocks vs. St. Clairsville Red Devils

The Barnesville Shamrocks will challenge the St. Clairsville Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Clairsville took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Barnesville, who comes in off a win.

Barnesville barely beat Union Local the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Shamrocks were the clear victors by a 21-4 margin over the Jets on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Shamrocks.

Meanwhile, St. Clairsville came up short against Martins Ferry on Wednesday and fell 7-2.

St. Clairsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. Barnesville has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Barnesville beat St. Clairsville 11-6 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Do the Shamrocks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
