Recap: Tupelo Christian Prep vs. Philadelphia

The Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles extended their postseason success on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Tornadoes. They never let the Tornadoes onto the board and left with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for Tupelo Christian Prep, who have now won 12 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Philadelphia with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lynli Hooker (3), Mia Coleman (2), Maggie Oxford, and Addison Johnson.

Tupelo Christian Prep is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season. As for Philadelphia, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10-2.

Tupelo Christian Prep is on the road again on Saturday and plays St. Andrew's Episcopal at 5:00 p.m. on February 10th. One thing working in St. Andrew's Episcopal's favor is that they have posted big goal totals in their last four contests. Philadelphia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
