Liberty County and Bradwell Institute are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2016, but likely not for long. The Liberty County Panthers are on the road again on Tuesday to play the Bradwell Institute Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Liberty County will be strutting in after a win while Bradwell Institute will be coming in after a loss.

Liberty County will head into Friday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a 15-run defeat in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Brunswick on Friday. Liberty County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over Brunswick. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since October 2, 2023.

Mya Armstrong spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.

Meanwhile, Bradwell Institute couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 17-1 to McIntosh County Academy on Thursday.

Liberty County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Bradwell Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
