Volleyball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Oak Grove Grizzlies, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Grizzlies from their previous meeting back in August of 2021.

While Trinity ultimately came up short, they really made Oak Grove work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 26-24, 25-13.

Hayli Cox paced Trinity's offense, picking up seven kills. Cox got some help from Avalynn Johnson and her 17 assists.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oak Grove, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Trinity wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against McMichael on the 20th. As for Oak Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against West Davidson on the 20th.
