Basketball Recap: Lindbergh Comes Up Short

Lindbergh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 58-32 to the Kirkwood Pioneers. While losing is never fun, the Flyers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Pioneers are ranked 199th).

Lindbergh's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Kirkwood, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lindbergh will challenge Parkway North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kirkwood, they will take on Parkway West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
