Volleyball Game Preview: Aynor Blue Jackets vs. Dillon Wildcats

Aynor has gone a perfect 10-0 against Dillon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Blue Jackets will challenge the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Aynor made easy work of Georgetown and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Jackets.

Aynor walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-16.

Aynor's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Emmy Dorman, who had 12 assists and three digs, and Mia Cole, who had eight digs and two assists. That's the most assists Dorman has posted over her last six matches.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Dillon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Marlboro County with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Aynor's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Dillon, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Aynor took their win against Dillon when the teams last played on September 11th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Jackets since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
