Lebanon had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tazewell Bulldogs 5-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 5-0 victory last Thursday.

Lebanon pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Tazewell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Lebanon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Richlands on the 24th. Tazewell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
