The Chaparral Pumas fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They secured a 17-13 W over Norco on Friday. Given Chaparral's advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Norco is ranked 116th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chaparral can attribute much of their success to Dash Beierly, who rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns.
