Soccer Game Preview: Skiatook vs. Grove

The Skiatook Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Grove Ridgerunners at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Skiatook is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Thursday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Catoosa.

Meanwhile, Grove didn't have quite enough to beat Summit Christian Academy on Thursday and fell 2-1.

Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Skiatook, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Everything went Skiatook's way against Grove in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Skiatook made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
