Gar-Field came into Monday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Liberty Eagles by a score of 6-2 on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Red Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gar-Field's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Liberty, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Liberty will head out to take on Mount Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Gar-Field will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' matchup: after the Eagles faces off against Potomac Senior, they'll take on Gar-Field again at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
