            Carrollwood Day had won five straight on the road, but  on Friday they bumped up to 7-0 to make it six. They claimed a resounding  48-7 victory over the Community School of Naples Seahawks. Considering the Patriots have won five contests by more than 33  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.

 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carrollwood Day to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Myles Mcdonald, who threw for 325 yards and three  TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 45 yards. What's more,  Mcdonald racked up 160.4  passer rating, the most he's  had since back in November of 2024.  Kameron Battle was another key back, gaining 152 total yards and three touchdowns.
As for Community School of Naples, they moved to 5-2 with that  loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. The  game marked their lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.
 When it comes to explaining why Community School of Naples lost, don't look at  Jayvian Tanelus. Despite the final result, he rushed for 117 yards and one  score. Tanelus is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing yards: he's   rushed for at least 110 every time he's  taken the field this season.
 Looking ahead, Carrollwood Day will be playing in front of their home fans against Merritt Island  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The last three games the Mustangs have played have been within three points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Community School of Naples, they will face off against First Baptist Academy at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
