Volleyball Recap: Mead Raiders vs. Elmwood-Murdock Knights
Mead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Elmwood-Murdock Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9, 25-10.
Mead's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Elmwood-Murdock, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-14 record.
Mead will face off against Boys Town at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elmwood-Murdock, they will take on Concordia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
