Basketball Recap: Independence Has No Trouble Against Cuyahoga Heights

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Trinity, Independence was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 41-27 win over the Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 35-29 back in December of 2024.

Independence is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Independence will challenge Beaumont School at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cleveland Central Catholic at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
