May River and Beaufort are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Sharks will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

May River is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Bishop England just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Battling Bishops. While losing is never fun, May River can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Bishop England are ranked eighth).

Meanwhile, Beaufort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Bishop England, falling 4-1. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Beaufort couldn't quite close it out.

Beaufort's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for May River, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

May River took their win against Beaufort in their previous matchup last Tuesday by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Sharks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
