Softball Recap: Trimble Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Trimble, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on the Miller Falcons with a sharp 15-0 win on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tomcats also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Trimble got a massive performance out of Daisy Harvey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave Harvey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Burdette, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Trimble's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Miller, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Trimble has already played their next game, a 5-4 win against Nelsonville-York on the 30th. As for Miller, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-9 defeat against Berne Union on the 30th.
