            Baseball Recap: Susquehanna Valley Sabers vs. Seton Catholic Central Saints        
        
		
        
        
            Susquehanna Valley and Seton Catholic Central pushed the score to  18-7 the last time they played Seton Catholic Central, but  on Wednesday defenses reigned supreme. The Sabers skirted past the Saints  2-1. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Sabers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

 Colin Trotter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits. He also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because Susquehanna Valley is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 7-8 otherwise.
 On the hitting side, Susquehanna Valley secured the  victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was  Kyle Garrehy, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  RBI. Those  two  hits gave  Garrehy a new career-high.  Jack Desimone also deserves some recognition as  he  got his first  hit of the season.
Susquehanna Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Seton Catholic Central, their loss was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-6.
 Susquehanna Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seton Catholic Central, they will square off against Southside at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
