It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Gladbrook-Reinbeck had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They managed a 43-39 victory over the Lynnville-Sully Hawks. The win was familiar territory for the Rebels, who have now won five contests in a row.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Lynnville-Sully, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 18-5 record.

Coming up, Gladbrook-Reinbeck will square off against North Linn at 5:00 p.m. on March 5th. North Linn is on an eight-game streak of home wins, Gladbrook-Reinbeck a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Lynnville-Sully does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
