After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dexter Southfield, Worcester Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Cushing Academy Penguins 8-2. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hilltoppers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Leo Lyons tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kellan Kissane, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryan Sornas, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Worcester Academy pushed their record up to 10-8-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
