James Wood strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warren County Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colonels also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

James Wood's got stronger as the match went on, holding Warren County to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-9.

Kennedy Spaid paced James Wood's offense, picking up 12 kills. Spaid got some help from Bella Middleton and her 14 assists. Brenna Corbin controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

James Wood's victory bumped their record up to 18-0. As for Warren County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. James Wood will venture away from home to face off against North Hagerstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warren County, they will head out to take on Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
