What many tuned in to watch the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio —
a 37-9 West win at the Alamo Dome — was to see where five top recruits were committing to.

As far as the game, Ole Miss commit
Shea Patterson — a teammate of Nauta at IMG Academy — earned MVP honors with modest numbers — 90 yards passing and two touchdown passes.
K.J. Costello, a teammate of Crawford at Santa Margarita and a Stanford commit, also threw two touchdown passes.

Bishop Amat (La Puente, Calif.), and uncommitted tight end

After the commitments, LSU still sits atop the 2016 football team rankings, according to 247Sports.
Michigan moved to the No. 2 spot following the commitment of Crawford.
Rounding out the top 10 in order are Ohio State, Florida State, Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss, Alabama, Notre Dame and Auburn.
