Recap: Red Bank Lions vs. East Ridge Pioneers
The Red Bank Lions came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 73-63 win over East Ridge. Given Red Bank's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while East Ridge is ranked 211th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Red Bank's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Anthony Bonner, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. Bonner hasn't dropped below 17 points for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Kendrick Lloyd, who scored 14 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.
Red Bank is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season. As for East Ridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.
