Volleyball Recap: Paso Robles Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Paso Robles came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Nipomo Titans. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

While Paso Robles was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Nipomo's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 26-24.

Among those leading the charge was Emily Rubalcava, who had ten digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last six matchups.

Paso Robles has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Nipomo, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Paso Robles and Morro Bay will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nipomo, they will host Santa Ynez at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
