Softball Recap: Union Springs' Undefeated Season over After 19 Games

If Union Springs was feeling good fresh off their 14-1 takedown of Seton Catholic Central on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves fell just short of the Tioga Tigers by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The contest marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Paityn Delaney put in work while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
