Flag Football Recap: Panther Creek Falls Short Against Ranked Willow Spring

Panther Creek faced Willow Spring in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The game between the Catamounts and the Storm didn't end well, with the Catamounts falling 27-12. The Catamounts have struggled against the Storm recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Panther Creek still got an impressive performance from Jocelyn Riley, who rushed for 102 yards and one score on only 13 carries.

Willow Spring can attribute much of their success to Aly Sauerbrei, who rushed for 54 yards and one TD, and also threw for 80 yards and one touchdown on only seven passes.

Panther Creek's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Willow Spring, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.
