Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 42-30 to the Unity Christian Lions. The Knights lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 41-8 score last time.

Blue Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Unity Christian, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge will welcome Cumberland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cumberland will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Blue Ridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Unity Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
