Football Game Preview: Minneola Wildcats vs. Udall Eagles

The Minneola Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Udall Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Minneola will be strutting in after a victory while Udall will be coming in after a defeat.

Minneola is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-14 win over Deerfield. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 44 points or more this season.

Minneola didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Karson Wideman, Ethan Espinoza, and Kaos Aldridge picked up one apiece. Espinoza got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Udall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against Oxford, falling 65-6. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Wildcats are ranked 17th).

Minneola's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Udall, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
