Lincoln-Way West faced Andrew in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Warriors came out on top against the Thunderbolts by a score of 4-1. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

The team relied heavily on Carson Paulas, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Antony Vita was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

Lincoln-Way West's win bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Andrew, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-6 record this season.
