Softball Game Preview: Princeton Vikings vs. Oak Hills Highlanders

Princeton is 0-9-1 against Oak Hills since May of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Vikings will welcome the Highlanders at 5:00 p.m. Princeton has given up an average of 10.9 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Princeton is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Lakota West, falling 11-1.

They were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Cardinals. The Highlanders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Oak Hills pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Princeton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
