Oak Grove triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Aj Maddox

Recap: Oak Grove Warriors vs. Brandon Bulldogs
With a playoff game on the line, the Oak Grove Warriors rose to the challenge on Friday. They snuck past the Bulldogs with a 49-45 win. The win was nothing new for Oak Grove as they're now sitting on five straight.
Aj Maddox was a one-man wrecking crew for Oak Grove as he rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 343 yards and three touchdowns. Maddox is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylin Champagne, who rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns.
Oak Grove's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Brandon, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
Oak Grove is on the road again on Friday and play against Starkville at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Starkville's defense has only allowed 17.3 points per game this season, so Oak Grove's offense will have their work cut out for Oak Grove. Brandon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
