Basketball Recap: Lewis County Comes Up Short

Lewis County was the 54-30 winner over Augusta when they last played one another back in February of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Lewis County Lions fell 57-47 to the Augusta Panthers on Friday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lewis County now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Augusta, their win bumped their record up to 11-15.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions duke it out with the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Augusta, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-34 defeat against Bellevue on the 15th.
