Troy fell victim to Athens and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Red Hawks. The Colts' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Athens' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andrew Dunlap, who threw for 174 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Cainan Hanbury helped Dunlap out on the ground, rushing for 85 yards and one TD.

Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Athens, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-5.
