Baseball Recap: Hidden Valley Wins Going Away Against Estacada

Hidden Valley barely beat Estacada the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Hidden Valley never let Estacada get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Alijah Zauher made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. Zauher was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Caden Kuhnert was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Logan Law was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

The win (which was Hidden Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Estacada, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hidden Valley will host Sweet Home at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Estacada, they will welcome Glide at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
